International flight Information

Alaska Seaplanes will need the following information for all passengers prior to flight:

  • Full name; last, first and middle, if applicable
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Country of Residence
  • Passport number and expiration date
  • All passengers, regardless of age are required to have a current passport book to fly.  Passport cards, NEXUS cards and enhanced driver’s licenses are not valid.
  • Check in is 90 minutes prior to flight time to allow us time to do the necessary US Customs and Border Protection and Advance Passenger Information submissions.
  • Check in at the Air North Ticket Counter inside the Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport
  • Check in at the Alaska Seaplanes Ticket Counter inside the Juneau International Airport
  • There are some misdemeanors in the United States that will prohibit you from being admitted into Canada.  Please check https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/inadmissibility.html if you have any questions.
  • It is each passenger’s responsibility to ensure they are in compliance with all applicable regulations for the country you are entering.  Alaska Seaplanes will not be liable for any expenses arising from denied or delayed entry, and you will be responsible for the cost of your return flight.
